Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

Let’s dig into real stories now that we are all reantiquated with one another. I had the pleasure of watching Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga not too long ago and needed to discuss it. Furiosa the film and Mad Max Fury road break through to me in a way I never thought possible. The old 1980s Mad Max trilogy never interested me in the slightest. The setting, the costumes, and story just didn’t make me want to sit down to watch.

Fast forward to 2015, my film buff college roommate wants us to watch the film together. I heard good things, so in went the DVD. Oh my goodness, was this a breath of fresh air compared to the other movies coming out at the time like Age of Ultron. Mad Max Fury road told a story in such a compelling visual way it reminded me how Anime is often explained to new watchers. “They animate it to convey the feeling of what is going on, not everything on screen actually happens.”

Well in Mad Max movies it does feel like everything happens as well gets emotionally portrayed through extremely satisfying visuals. When Furiosa was announced I was delighted for a trip back into the Mad Max world. Please Enjoy Episode 2 of the MVA Podcast Discussing Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
